The 2024 edition of Argentina Oil & Gas Patagonia (AOG Patagonia), a major event dedicated to the energy industry in the Southern Cone, took place on October 23-25 in Neuquén.
Reinforcing its strategic role in Argentina's oil services market, Tenaris participated as one of the main sponsors of the expo, alongside sister companies Tecpetrol and Techint Engineering & Construction.
"At Tenaris, we are dedicated to supporting the growth of the local energy market through the expansion of our services," says Javier Martínez Álvarez, President of Tenaris for the Southern Cone.
Tenaris has become the third-largest supplier of services for unconventional wells after acquiring fracking, coiled tubing, and wireline equipment from Baker Hughes in 2021.
In early 2024, Tenaris began operating its second fracking set, which was assembled in Argentina. In June 2024, the company expanded its capacity with a second fracking and coiled tubing set, serving operators such as Tecpetrol, Total, and Phoenix. Additionally, a new 25-hectare facility for its fracking unit is currently under construction and will be inaugurated by the end of year.
