Tenaris's facility in Abu Dhabi has been certified as an Industry 4.0 Digital Leader by the UAE's Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT). This certification underscores Tenaris's commitment to leveraging advanced technologies to drive operational efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness within the UAE's industrial sector.
Tenaris earned the certification following a comprehensive assessment through the Industrial Technology Transformation Index (ITTI) developed by MoIAT. The ITTI is the region's first digital maturity tool, designed to evaluate the adoption of advanced technologies and sustainable practices in manufacturing operations. The assessment highlighted Tenaris’s leadership in digital transformation and its proven track record of integrating cutting-edge solutions across its value chain.
Industry 4.0 is a core pillar of the UAE's goal to elevate the industrial sector's contribution to the nation's gross domestic product to AED 300 billion by 2031. This national initiative aims to strengthen and diversify the UAE's industrial capabilities, fueling economic growth and fostering innovation.
