We produce a range of hot-rolled seamless tubes for plumbing, fire extinguishing, water, and natural gas distribution applications used in civil and industrial installations. Our general-purpose tubes can be made with various types of coating (galvanized, thermo coating/pre-painted or in polyethylene), with smooth ends or threaded, and supplied with coupling.
For civil and industrial installations, the color of the pipe identifies the fluid being carried. For this reason, we created Dalmine Thermo®: steel pipes, hot-coated with epoxy powder so no painting on site is necessary and pipe use is identified more easily and safely.
The coating is applied by fusing epoxy powder to the surface of the shot-blasted pipe, preheated at 200°C and is available in different colors: red for fireproof systems, yellow for natural gas distribution, green for heating systems, white for transport of comburents.
Polycoat tubes guarantee high resistance against liquid, gas and chemical product corrosion, elevate deformation resistance and high insulation over time using a triple or double layer polyolefin polymer-based coating.
Our lead-free galvanized pipe uses an innovative hot galvanizing process that does not require adding lead to the zinc bath. Our zinc is electrolytic, with 99.995% purity meaning presence of lead is less than 0.005%, one hundred times below the maximum limit indicated by law.
Our service offering ensures that after processing the paint coating remains uniform over the entire surface of the pipe, including the cutting areas. We provide cutting, grooving, axis and off-axis drilling services for our customized products so they are ready for assembly, according to project specifications.
